These are guaranteed to be a hit … Crispy Mars Bar Balls! You only need 4 ingredients and there’s no baking required. I made these today to take to my niece’s Birthday party and it was hard work getting my kids not to eat them before we left. Maybe next time I should make a double batch!

Serves: 15 balls
Ingredients ...
  • 2 x Mars Bars (53g), roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 ¾ cups Rice Bubbles
  • Sprinkles
Method ...
  1. Place chopped Mars Bars and butter in a heat-proof bowl and melt in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir to combine and then melt in the microwave for a further 20 - 30 seconds. Stir to combine.
  2. Add Rice Bubbles and stir though gently until all are coated with the chocolate mixture.
  3. Allow mixture to cool for approximately 10 minutes. Form balls using a heaped teaspoonful of mixture. Squeeze the mixture together firmly in the palm of your hand and then use your fingers to form the ball shape.
  4. Place balls in small wrappers, shake over with sprinkles and refrigerate until needed.
